Paint rollers made of conventional polyurethane foam are the ideal solution for price-quality ratio and can be used not only for home use but also for professional use, when applying latex, water-dispersion paints, primers. They are used for painting smooth surfaces. When using rollers of this type with alkyd paints and varnishes it must be kept in mind that the foam is unstable in their solvents and quickly loses its physical qualities. Foam rollers can not be used with paints, which are diluted with acetone, ethyl acetate, toluene.
